Pilates movement: It is one of the modern physical preparation methods for training the muscles of the body as a single unit. Pilates movements are characterized by the possibility for men and women of all ages to practice it, in addition to that it can be practiced anywhere with tools and without tools. In the modern era, many scientists have been interested in developing methods and foundations to achieve the purposes of exercises as the basis of sports aspects and the origin of all physical movements. Pilates movements are attributed to the German Joseph H. Pilates, who invented and developed this type of movements through his experiences in gymnastics, exercises, yoga and other sports. self-defense. Pilates movements also depend on coordination between the hands, eyes, and legs. Pilates movements are performed using a mattress and a balance ball. Pilates movements use gravity and body weight as resistance to increase the intensity of training during performance.Research problem: Pilates movements are considered one of the methods of physical preparation training, which aims to develop and develop muscle strength and the ability to control performance through the various muscles of the body in general and the muscles of the trunk in particular through the coordination and accuracy between both the nervous and muscular systems. The largest number of many muscle groups through continuous movement in a streamlined manner and precise focus on the strength and balance of the various muscles of the trunk such as the abdominal muscles, back and pelvic joint muscles.The problem of the research appeared through the researcher’s observation that there are some racket sports that require the development of physical qualities in particular and in a different way from some traditional methods, which lack the upgrading of specific and precise physical qualities, which is negatively reflected on the level of skillful performance of some of these sports. And to reach the results required for the development of physical qualities, development and upgrading the level of skillful performance of these sports. The researcher believes that Pilates movements are one of the best modern methods that work on developing different physical attributes in a more accurate manner that serves to raise the level of skillful performance of racket sports in a way that achieves significantly positive results.Therefore, the researcher will use the movements of Pilates and know their effect on some physical characteristics and the level of skillful performance of some racket sports.research aims:The research aims to identify the effect of using Pilates movements on some physical attributes and the level of skill performance for some racket sports through the following:
1- Recognizing the effect of using Pilates movements on some physical attributes (strength - speed - agility - flexibility - compatibility) and the level of skill performance of tennis players
2- Recognizing the effect of using Pilates movements on some physical attributes (strength - speed - agility - flexibility - compatibility) and the level of skill performance of table tennis players
3- To identify the effect of using Pilates movements on some physical attributes (strength - speed - agility - flexibility - compatibility) and the level of skillful performance of badminton players.Research hypotheses:
1- There are statistically significant differences between the averages of the tribal and remote measurements of tennis players in the physical characteristics (strength - speed - agility - flexibility - compatibility) and the level of skill performance in favor of the post measurement.
2- There are statistically significant differences between the averages of the tribal and remote measurements of table tennis players in the physical characteristics (strength - speed - agility - flexibility - compatibility) and the level of skill performance in favor of the post measurement.
3- There are statistically significant differences between the averages of the tribal and remote measurements of badminton players in the physical characteristics (strength - speed - agility - flexibility - compatibility) and the level of skill performance in favor of the post measurement.
4- There are statistically significant differences between the pre-, inter- and post-measurements (for tennis players - table tennis - and badminton) in the physical characteristics in favor of the dimensional measurement.Research plan and conduct:
1- Research Methodology: The researcher used the experimental method using the experimental design for three experimental groups using measurement (pre and post), where the researcher made the tribal measurements of all research variables on all members of the sample before applying the Pilates movements, and then the post measurements after completing the application of the training program.2- Research community:
The research community includes the intentional selection of the research sample for the players of the Benha city clubs, whose ages range from (15:12) years.3- Research sample:The researcher chose the research sample in a deliberate way for a number of (15) players who were divided, where the basic study sample included the first experimental group consisting of (5) players, the second experimental group consisting of (5) players, and the third experimental group consisting of (5) players, and the exploratory study sample included The number of (3) players, where the size of the basic sample amounted to (15) players and the number of (3) players that were used in the exploratory study, out of the total sample size of (18) players.4- Search tools and devices:The researcher used the following forms, tools and devices:The personal data form and the measurements indicated in it (name - age - height - weight - physical measurements - skill variables).The tools used:- (Tennis court - badminton court - table tennis - rackets and tennis balls - locally manufactured tennis racket weighing one kilogram - badminton rackets and balls - table tennis rackets and balls - tape measure and sticky labels - stopwatch and whistle - inserted ruler - ropes and mattresses).The devices used:- (The rest meter for measuring length - medical scale for measuring weight - laser printer - scanner. “scanner” - a device consisting of two circles of wood lined with leather and placed horizontally so that the distance between them is twenty-four (24) inches).5- Survey Studies:Due to the nature of this study, the researcher conducted a field survey in order to explore the possible pros and cons that could be treated before starting the basic experiment.Therefore, the researcher conducted the exploratory study on a sample of (3) players during the period from 01/26/2021AD to 28/1/2021AD.6- Program application procedures:Tribal measurementsTribal measurements were made on the basic study sample members in the physical measurements and the level of skill performance. In making the measurements, the researcher took into account that the measurements are made in similar conditions for all sample members at the same time and using one measuring tools for all sample members. from 2/2/2021AD to 4/2/2021AD Basic search experienceAfter the researcher conducted the exploratory study and its results, he conducted the basic study and it was conducted as follows:Next steps:• The members of the basic sample underwent a unified program in all its proposed contents, which was applied by the researcher to the players of the Benha city clubs, for a period of 8 weeks, from 7/2/2021AD to 3/4/2021AD.• The foundations that the researcher took into account when applying the experiment:1- The program was implemented 5 times a week and at a time ranging from 40: 90 minutes for 8 weeks during the preparation period, and accordingly the number of training units becomes 40 training units, and the intensity of the exercise has been gradual from 35%: 90% of the maximum heart rate .2- The unified warm-up was carried out in training doses on the research group (experimental) with an aerobic load of 30%: 50%, which included exercises that contribute to raising the body temperature, preparing the muscles for work and stimulating blood circulation, then stretching and mobile flexibility exercises.3- Then the main part was implemented, which included a program of Pilates movements for the research group, whose content targeted most parts of the body.4- The unified calming part was implemented in the training doses of the group in question, which contains exercises that contribute to restoring recovery, such as fixed stretches.Dimensional measurements
Post-measurements were made on the basic study sample in the physical measurements and the level of skill performance under study.
The dimensional measurements were made on the individuals of the basic study sample in the various measurements from 5/4/2021AD to 7/4/2021AD.7- Statistical treatments:After collecting the data and recording the various measurements using the statistical laws, as well as the statistical program of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences, which is symbolized by the symbol “SPSS”, the data was processed using the following statistical methods:1- Arithmetic mean.2- The mediator.3- The standard deviation.4- skew modulus.5- T-test to find out the differences6- Percentages of improvement %.Conclusions:In light of the objectives and hypotheses of the research and the statistical results that have been reached, and by discussing the results, the researcher was able to reach the following conclusions:1- The use of Pilates movements has achieved remarkable positive results on some physical characteristics and the level of skillful performance of some racket sports (tennis - table tennis - badminton).2- The Pilates movements program leads to an improvement in the physical attributes of tennis players, as there are statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements of tennis players in the physical attributes, while the improvement rate between the two measurements was limited (100: - 18.48%.)3- The Pilates movements program leads to an improvement in the level of skill performance of tennis players, as there are statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements of tennis players in the level of skill performance, while the improvement rate was limited between the two measurements (52: 53.57%.)4- The Pilates movements program leads to an improvement in the physical characteristics of table tennis players, as there are statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements of table tennis players in the physical characteristics, while the improvement rate was limited between the two measurements (117.64: -29.26%).5- The Pilates movements program leads to an improvement in the level of skill performance of table tennis players, as there are statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements of table tennis players in the level of skill performance, while the improvement rate was limited between the two measurements (37.634: 50%)6- The Pilates movements program leads to an improvement in the physical characteristics of the badminton players, as there are statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements of the badminton players in the physical characteristics, while the improvement rate was limited between the two measurements (43: -16.66%).7- The Pilates movements program leads to an improvement in the skill level of badminton players, as there are statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements of badminton players in the skill level of performance, while the improvement rate between the two measurements was limited (0.32: 55%.)8- The Pilates movements program positively affects the development of the qualities, skills and characteristics of Pilates.9- The Pilates movements program has a positive effect on achieving an improvement in the performance of the six principles of Pilates (muscular control, focus, centrality, accuracy, fluidity, breathing) and compatibility between them
Recommendations:Within the limits of conclusions and based on the results of the research through the procedures that were used and what was reached, the researcher recommends the following:1- Pilates programs should be used to develop all physical characteristics because of their strong impact on the development and improvement of the various elements of physical fitness.2- Applying the Pilates movements program to raise the level of skill performance fordifferent racket sports, especially (tennis - table tennis - badminton).3- Using the programs and levels of Pilates exercises and applying them to different sports to benefit from their results to improve the level of skillful performance of these sports.4- Take advantage of the programs and levels of Pilates movements and publish them within the faculties of physical education.5- Publishing the stages and levels of Pilates movements to benefit from its application to all age groups.6- Doing new research and opening other horizons to gain knowledge and experience in the ways of using and performing Pilates exercises with or without
