المستخلص This study sheds light on the impact of Kabbalah on the Jewish popular belief or what may be called ”Magical-applied kabbalah” (practical Kabbalah). It is the typical kabbalah which is formed from combination of Kabbalah thought and the Jewish Popular Belief. It bluntly appeared since the first beginnings of kabbalah in which lots of its early writings comprised lots of magical beliefs. Such beliefs were eventually interpreted within the conceptual Kabbalah framework and its chief conceptions, especially those concerned with the magical nature of language and interpreting its letters.Generally speaking, Kabbalah thought has an esoteric incarnating frame as it is preoccupied with knowing the essence of god and esoteric knowledge. It is inclined to search in interpreting the letters and names of god and angels. Such Kabbalah thinking made use of the applied type with emphasis on the magical one. All these concepts, incarnating interpretations, and divine knowledge formed Kabbalah literature fraught with many magical applications, magic mantra, speculations etc.The study also presents some of these magical applications, which are tinged with kabbalah thought, explaining the view of this thought and the aspects it reflects on them. |
