Abstract
Using (GIS) Geographic Information Systems and Modern Surveying Techniques in order to support decision makers in the field of combating floods and crisis management through study of some areas in egypt which is exposed to floods which result in disasters and crises demographic and economic and how to find solutions to them by calculating potential amount of water that would be resulting from floods to determine the level of mitigative structures or create culverts the routes of flash floods for the water collected to be used and take advantages of and delineating drainge networks .
