Abstract
I The salt works in Egypt proved to be suitable for the mtegrated production of salt as well as Artemia. Production of Artemia gives triple income of salt production from solar saltworks. Artemia populations are found in El- Max solar saltworks, Mexandria, Egypt, at salinity levels of 1 7 Baume. Bisexual and rarthenogenetic population’s alternate in presence depending upon ,the water temperature and the salinity. Cyst production mainly occurs in operational saltworks , at salinity levels of 27 Baume and characterized by its high quality for feeding fish and shrimp larvae.
