Abstract This 0study included 85 sel9-téd patients with 1 00 catararactous eyesw different ag and sex. 30 eyes were traumatic cataract and 70 eyes were complicated cataract The patients were aoii collected from different Traumatic cataract were caused by blunt trauma, penetrating trauma and intraocular foreign bodies while complicated cataract were caused by iridocyclitis, retinal detachment, myopia, diabetes, glaucoma, and persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous (PI1PV). Every patient was subjected to the following 1\\. history taking and clinical’’examination were done flrst, then both A and B scan ultrasonography were performed to all patients. After a A-scan examination to determine whether any abnormality exists, a combined A and B scan approach was used to identify it. Any vitreoretinal abnormalities localized by 13-scan were further characterized by topographic, quantitative and kinetic methods. |
