Abstract
Send bricks industry is growing nowadays to replace red bricks industry for the aim of keeping the fertility of our agricultural land.consequently the hazard of silicosis is expected to be inreasing in egypt as time pass.so, it was found necessary to study silicosis among workers in sand bricks industry to put prophylactic criteria against the development of such a diseases .queisna sand bricks factory –menoufia governanate- was chosen for this purpose.it was recently established 1975 .a stratified random sample of 150 workers from different departments was chosen. For each worker a full occupational history, clinical examination and pulmonary function studies were done
