Abstract A total number of 108 raw milk samples were collected from different localities in Ismailia city, 72 samples were collected from markets (36samples from dairy shops and 36 samples from street vendors), in addition to 36 samples collected from individual dairy bjffaloes in a governmental farm. The collected samples were subjected to the bacteriological examination, which reveald the folloing results: Enterobacteriaceae organisms,represented by Escherichia Coli, Citrobacter species, Klebsiella species, Enterobacter species, Salmonella species, Proteus species, and Morganella morgani, as well as Pseudomonas species, Staphylococcus faecalis and Coryneforms were recovered with percentage of 8.33%, 25%, 19.44%, 30.55%, 5.55%, 12.50%, 2.76%, 12.50%, 5.55%, 16.67% & 30,55%. |
