Abstract The Present Study Aims To Investigate The Effect Of Different Doses Of Gamma Radiation On: 1) The Total Count Of Soil Bacteria And Fungi. 2) Soil Azobacter And Clostridium. 3) Some Extractable Ions And Ph Of The Soil. The Results Obtained Show That Higher Proliferation Of Soil Microorganisms Is Observed In The Alluvial Soil Than In The Calcareous One. The Percentage Of Survival Of Soil Bacteria And Fungi After Exposure To Different Doses Of Gamma Radiation Are Lower In The Moistened Soil Samples Than In The Dry One. The Different Doses Of Gamma Radiation Applied To The Experimental Soil Samples Do Not Alter The Soil Ph. |
