Abstract This study included 40 adult patients with Hodgkin’s disease (stage IIB-IV) treated at Clinical Oncology Department, Tanta University Hospitals; Clinical Oncology & Nuclear Medicine Department and Medical Oncology & Hematology Unit, Mansoura University Hospitals, during the period from July 1997 to February 2002.The mean age was 33.6 years. The male to female ratio was 3: 1.According to Ann Arbor staging system, 50% had stage III,35% had stage IIB and 15% had stage IV. According to Rye classification, mixed cellularity was the most frequent subtype (45%) followed by Nodular sclerosis, Lymphocyte predominance and Lymphocyte depletion respectively. |
