Abstract Antioxidants have proved to be helpful in protection aganst many pollutants which cause oxidative stress by free radicals production as these antioxidants have free radical scavenger properties, they can improve the endogenous antioxidants protective mechanism, and correct the damage occurred by free radicals. This work was conducted to investigate the protective effects of vitamin E and melatonin against lead toxicity. the following experimental study was carried out on 150 male albino wistar rats divited into six groups as follows: Experimental albino rats were classified into six groups: each group consisted of 25 male rats used for studing the protective effects of vitamin E and melatonin as antioxidants against lead acetate toxicity. |
