Abstract In view of the current interest in biologically active metal complexes that can serve as models for biological process, especially the complexes that can be formed at physiological pH values, the present dissertation presents a systematic study of some ternary systems involving the well-Known biologically important triazole compounds as secondary liagnd, with amino acids or aliphatic acids or H2ADA as primary ligand and some transition metal ions. The present dissertation includes three chapters that can be summarized as follows: I- Chapter I: It deals with a general review about the previous work carried out on the binary complexes of transition metals with triazoles as well as the literature survey concerning the ternary systems involving triazoles and amino acides as well as aliphatic acids and H2ADA. 2- Chapter II: This chapter contains the chemicals used in this study and their chemical structures and also the experimental and the instrumental procedure for the determination of the ionization constants of triazoles as well as the binary and ternary complex formation constants by applying Irving- Rossotti technique. |
