Abstract Health and productivity of adults in any country are known to be depending on nutrition and food habits of children. In this connection dietary protein is of the most important. Also, inadequate intakes of micro-nutrients continue to be major problems affecting more than one-third of the world’s people. Iron deficiency is the most prevalent micro nutrient deficiency, affecting over, 2 billion people, particularly women and children. Therefore, the present study was aimed to: 1- Prepare diets for the primary school students using of meat, as a complete protein 2- Study the chemical and physical properties of different prepared diets formulas 3- Evaluate the nutritional characteristics of these different prepared diets formulas including, energy value, satisfaction of the daily requirements of primary school students(7-10 years old) in energy and satisfaction of the daily needs of student in protein 4- Determine some chemical characteristics which are among the main factors influencing the quality of different prepared diets formulas such as volatile nitrogen fractions, fat rancidity …etc. |
