Praziquantel (biltricid, distocid) is the drug used now in Egypt for treatment of all types of bilharziasis. The aim of this work is to study and analyse the effect of praziquantel (biltricid, distocid) as a widely used anti bilhazial drug on hearing threshold of bilharzial patients. The study was conducted on 60 bilharzial patients 36 males and 24 female. Their age ranged from 20 - 40 years. Each subject was subjected to full history, full clinical examination, E.N.T. examination, laboratory evaluation and audiological evaluation. |
