Abstract Acute lymphoblastic eukemia is the most common form of ignacy among pediatric age group, it is a heterogeneous ase with multi system effects. Thirteen ALL patients were involved in this work. They 5 malses and 8 females with a mean age of 7.5 ± 4.07 years peak incidence of 2-6 years in about 53% of cases. Splenomegally was found in 10 cases, 76% Total leucocytic amon our patients ranged from 2.8 — 251.2x 109/L with a value of5l.530 ± 7.940 x i09/ L Platelet count with a range 15—485 x 109/L and a mean value of 96.230 ± 27.98 x 109/L Hemoglobin level with a range of 4.6— 9.4 gm/dl and mean ucof 7.29 gm/dl± 1.38 gm/dl. Inimunophenotyping analysis reveals 5 patients were T-cell (38%) and 7 patients pre B-cell (53%) and one patient mature (7.5%). We tested for immunogloblin heavy chain gene ,ments by polyrnerase chain reaction in peripheral blood bone marrow of patients at diagnosis and after induction of sio n. At diagnosis peripheral blood testing revealed negative plification in one patient and postive amplification in twelve ients. One year follow tip revealed relapse in 6 patients and |
