Abstract
The aim of the present work is to study the incidence of lipid abnormalities in patients on maintenance haemodialysi therapy and i n renal t ranaplant recipients with stable graft function in an attempt to find out the causes of athoroaclerotic process in these patients.The study was conducted on 30 adult patients with chronic renal failure undergoing haemodialysis,(10 patients of short-term haemodialysis and 20 patients of long-term haemodialysis), as well as 10 rend transplant recipients with st able graft function.Both groups were compared to 10 normal healthy individuals as a reference group.
