Abstract The aim of the present work is t o study the ecologlcd factors operating in groups of physically handicapped children in the toe of Tats. Also it was meant t o study the difference of their saseeptibility to contract diseases from that of a nornal control group of children. To accomplish such aim, two thousand and hundred physically handicapped children attending Tant a special centres were exmined during a period of one year.
