Abstract
This study reports on the presence and isolation of biologically active oilsin the peels of different citrus fruits , on the irinsecticidal activity and on the irjoint action with synthetic in secticides on some linsects 1, Citr us oils were extracted fomthe peels of seven different citrus fruits gapsfruit , mandarin, sweetorange, navel orange, native orange, lemon and lime, Their percent- 2. Thin-layer chromatography of purified oils on silica .gel plates, using benzene: ace-tone: ethyl acetate (90: 5: 1) as solvent system and vanillin reagent at!! a developer, revealed that the nunbex of components differ from one oilto ailo”i.her, Wumbers of’ components were 18, 1.7, 17, 16, 15, 14 and 14 for the oils of mandarin, grapefruit, lime, lemon, navel orange, native orange and sweet orange, in respect.
