Abstract
Studies on the recleriiztion of sone s a l t effected s o i l s heve been performed t o recognize the e f f e c t of d i f f e r e n t reclanat ion treatments on some chemical prop e r t i e s of the studied s o i l s , Also, t h e study inclcded the behaviour of d i f f e r e n t types of f e r t i l i z e r s (slow on6 f a s t r e l e a s e ) in the r e c e n t l y reclaimed end a r a b l e s o i l s under continuous lesching. The response 02 sone c r o p s (wheat ~ndpe pper ) t o slow end f e s t r e l e a s e f e r t i - l i z e r s under pot e,xperiments viere i n v e s t i g a t e d . Eight s o i l p r o f i l e s were chosen from Eafr El-Sheikh Governorate extendirig from Kessir, et the south , t o Burullus loke, st the Xort h, and from Abo-Eoustafa a t the esst, t o Abo-El-Ganeim, e t the west, Also, undisturbed s o i l columns were taken from the forementioned . s o i l p r o f i l e s . The s o i l samples were analyzed f o r t h e i r chemicel end physical p r o p e r t i e s tind clessif ied i n t o t h r e e groups €is follows: 1- Arable s o i l s . 2- Seline a l k a l i s o i l s . 3- S l i g h t l y s a l i n e s o i l s .
