Abstract In the last few years, sugar beet crop has gained an economical important in Egypt. The sugar beet became the second source of sugar after sugarcane in the last few years. To increase the sugar production , sugar beet crops should be protected against any pest infestation. So, this study was directed to focus the relationship between the toxicity of some insecticides, actellic, lannate and pirimor against Myzus Persicae Sulz. which transmit the BMV, the later diseases BMV cause a serious problems in sugar beet. Also this study was interested with the relation between the residues of insecticides in sugar beet plants, and transmission of beet mosaic virus ( BMV) by the susceptible and resistance strain of Myzus Persicae Sulz. or by mechanical inoculation. |
