Abstract 1- The aim of this work was to study the benefit of thrombolytic therapy in patients with first acute inferior wall myocardial infarction: focus on the prognostic importance of right ventricular infarction. 2- The material of this study comprised 50 patients categorized into 4 groups, according to whether they had received thrombolytic therapy or not, and also whether they had right ventricular infarction or not. -Group A: represented patients with inferior myocardial infarction alone and received thrombolytic therapy and comprised 8%. - Group B: represented patients with inferior myocardial infarction alone and not received throlnbolytic therapy and comprised 32%.- group (A) represented patients with inferior myocardial infarction associated with right ventricular infarction and received thrombolytic therapy and comprised 3 6%.- Group (B): represented patients with inferior myocardial infarction associated with right ventricular infarction and not received thrombolytic therapy and comprised 24%. |
