Abstract Introduction : - IVM for the treatment of infertility in PCOS patients is a great challenge in the area of assisted reproduction as it eliminates the ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome and is associated with reduced cost. Patient and method:- - This prospective study was carried out in Herlve University Hospital , 40 IVM cycles were included in 33 patients, patients were primed by F.S.H for 3 consecutive days IVM. Cycles were evaluated, developmental competence of Immature oocytes and factors affecting the out come were also evaluated. Results : - of 40 IVM cycles 5 were cancelled 12.5% and the maturation rate was 87.9%, fertilization rate was 89.7% cleavage rate was 88.5%, and pregnancy rate was 19%. Conclusion:- - IVM is a simple way of ART. It elimination ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome and reduces the cost of the ART cycles but it is still of low results and mare researches are needed to improve its outcome. |
