Abstract
Considering the several theories and suggestions enlightened the mechanism of action of a manifold number of compounds, several series of compounds were prepared, in this work, according to the following bases :
(1) Ethyl alcohol was found to possess psychotomimetic aotian mainly deliriumj this led to the preparation of a series of alcohols derived from substituted benzotriazoles and oarrying the ethyl alcohol moiety
(2) Many heterocyclic compounds are v/ell known as psychotogenic and psychodolic agents. 2J,H~dimethyl~ tryptamine, harmine, harmaline and lysergic acid diethylamide are the most prominent examples of this type of drugs.
