Abstract
Many 1.3-disubstituted-6-methy luracils and thiouracils have been reported to exert broad spectrum biological activities.among the most important are the antithyroid and antiviral activities Among the most important are the antithyroid and antiviral activities. In addition . benzimidazole . and benzimidazole, benzimidazole devivatives of urea and thiourea have long been knoe for their antithyriod and antiviral activities. Furthermore, some uracils having arylazo moiety were shown to exert antithyroid as well as antiviral activity.
