Abstract
ood pressure for 10 minutes from injection of d-tubocurarine . whereas the mean arterial and diastolic blood pressure were insignificantly decreased . In the minidose prinduction group - There was a significant decrease in both systolic and mean arterial blood pressure for 20 and 5 minutes respectively . Wberease the diastolic blood pressure was insignificantly decreased - Conclusion : pre-induction of minidose of dtubocurarine prolonged the duration of its bypotensive response . So it may be desirable to use minidose pre- induction technique in cases of deliberate bypotension getting the advantage of minimizing scoline pain and as adjuvant for the bypotensive measures.
