Abstract

The study included 30 patients suffering from skin disease pemphigus of the mouth. The Kano 8 men were aged between 26 and 76 years old Pettmost 51 years old. The patients were diagnosed through the history of the disease and the clinical symptoms of the disease , and took tissue samples. Patients were then divided into two equal groups . Group 1 , which included 15 patients who were treated with intravenous injection of a large dose of bromide. Group 2 , which included at 15 patients were treated with oral prednisolone . In the two groups if the patient does not respond to such a large dose of cortisone Eachdhu of azathioprine 150 mg per day in 3 divided doses and then reduce the dose of azathioprine when they become gradually less cortisone dose of 45 mg every two days without an increase of the disease. Is the follow - up of patients clinically first group every day during intravenous cycles until the disease is declining , and then every week for six months while second group follow-up patients a week for six months. In addition to this are assess experimentally patients before beginning treatment Balchortazn and after a month or two months and three months from the beginning of treatment with cortisone. It was found in this study that patients in the first group there is no clear changes in blood pressure and heart rate during intravenous injection. It also found that the acute side effects were minimal and temporary effecting only understanding 60 % of patients. These symptoms have included a metallic taste side of the mouth and a temporary redness of the face during a cortisone injection. Also occurred in the sleep disorder fatigue and high blood pressure and mood change during the first week after injection. While the side effects late ( high blood sugar , high blood pressure and swelling of the face ) more clearly in the second group Alaolyan group. The difference between the two groups for the value of natural killer cells is clear after two and three months and six months after the beginning of treatment. But after six months from the beginning of treatment this value is clearly higher in the second set than in the first set.
