Abstract This st’i ‘NS ctt tc eN3Xu tht e.ttci ot qacxwt ass with and without PRP on the treatment of jaw bone defects. Materials and methods: Histological study: Normal 15 male guinea pigs weighing 400 — 500 gm were used and randomly divided into 3 groups based on their time of sacrifice 15, 30 and 45 days postsurgically. All animals were operated on under general anaesthesia. Once PRP was prepared via differential centrifugation the animals were subjected to implantation of BG and BG mixed with PRP into two induced bony defects about, 3 mmdiameter and depth through the right and left sides respectively. After the animals were sacrificed specimens were immediately fixed in 10% formalin solution, processed and stained with H&E. |
