Abstract Urea fertilizer is the most popular nitrogen fertilizer and has the cheapest nitrogen unit among all nitrogen fertilizers. This investigation aims to coat urea fertilizer with some phosphotic materials , which are available locally , to control and slowdown its release in order to be available to plants for longer periods of time and, consequently, to reduce its loses and bad environmental impact. There are some approaches to increase the nitrogen fertilizer , one approach is to develop the compound chemically such as introducing one element instead of another in the compound. Second approach is to add some materials to control the transformations, which happen to urea by the effect of enzymes and bacteria . The two approaches did not find their commercial applications due to their high costs . |
