Abstract
For a detailed comparison between the properties of the spontaneous collisionless drift waves, obtained with hydrogen plasma on the ODE (Onde de derive experimentaux) experiment, and the linear theory, a comperhensive study of density as well as temperature profiles (for both ions and electrons) is of quite importance. these drift waves driven by a pressure gradient perpendicular to the confining field are observed in low B.
