Abstract

The purpose of this study is to
 To investigate the possible best alternative to antibiotic drugs in treatment of necrotic enteritis with the emerging public health concern about antibiotic resistance.
 Investigating the possible mechanism involved in the beneficial effect of suggested Enterococcus faecium (M74) on performance and carcass characteristics of broiler chickens. The chickens were allocated into 6 groups.
1- Samples collected of blood for hematological analysis and blood serum( for biochemical analysis and immunological parameters):
2- Samples collected for Histopathological Examination: Small intestine tissue was collected after animal sacrifice for histopathological examination purposes.
Results: Hematological parameters:- Our results showed that, WBCs showed significant increase in positive control, (leukocytosis) .There was no significant difference between the studied groups and negative control. Positive control showed a significant decrease in RBCs (1012/L), Complete blood pictures (hemoglobin concentration, packed cell volume, red blood cell count, and white cell count, as well as differential leukocytic count).
Liver function parameters: In our study infected non treated group showed a significant elevation in AST, ALT, ALP and total protein, albumin, followed by improvements with non-significant variations in the examined groups in each liver function parameters representing liver injury due to bacterial infection while in case of globulin level there was no significant difference between positive control, negative control and examined groups.
Kidney functions parameters:. Our results showed that there was a significant increase in urea, creatinine, uric acid and potassium in positive control group that demonstrated the presence of kidney injuries followed by significanincrease in urea, creatinine, uric acid, and potassium in groups
Immunological Parameters: Our study showed that TNF, IL4, CD+4and CD+8 was significantly increased in positive control and n-significantly increased in M74.
