Abstract Thyroid hormones (TH) control most metabolic processes. A thyroidectomy is a surgical surgery in which the thyroid gland is removed whole or in part. Hypothyroidism and a TH deficiency resulted from a thyroidectomy. Previous studies have shown the detrimental effects of hypothyroidism on spermatogenesis, highlighting the essential role of thyroid hormone in maintaining normal testicular function, spermatogenesis, and appropriate testicular development. |
