Abstract This study included 41 newly diagnosed CRC patients. Routine investigations were done for all patients. Diagnosis and staging were based on colonoscopy findings, abdominal radiography, pathological findings, and clinical decisions. The study also included 39 patients with precancerous benign colorectal diseases and 20 normal individuals as control group They were classified intogroup I: CRC group: 41 patients. They were classified according to TNM staging to Stage I 7 CRC patients.Stage II :15 CRC patients.Stage III: 11 CRC patients.Stage IV: 8 CRC patients.They include (16 females and 25 males) group II: Precancerous group: 39 patients Eight patients with ulcerative colitis. Ten patients with crohn’s disease. Twenty-one patients with non-specific colitisThey include (22 females and 17 males). group III: Control group: 20 apparently healthy individuals with age and sex matched. They include (6 females and 14 males). |
