Abstract
Endometriosis is an enigmatic disease characterized by development of tha endometrial tissue outside of tha uterus. Tha most common location of endometriosis is tha ovary, occurring in 17-44% of patients affected by endometriosis.
2endometrioma is tha formation of 00ovarian cyst lined by tha endometrial glands and stroma.
Tha condition is associated with a variety of symptoms, with tha main clinical symptoms such as dysmenorrhea (pain on menstruation), dysparounia (painful intercourse), dyschezia (painful bowel movements), lower back pain, and chronic pelvic pain.
