Abstract The eventual result of the steady decline in kidney function over months or years is an end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or chronic kidney disease (CKD stage 5). It has an impact on a person’s physical and psychological well-being. When a person reaches this stage, they all need renal replacement therapy like hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and renal transplantation to take the place of their healthy kidney. Different renal replacement therapies (RRT) have varying effects on a patient’s physical, emotional, and social well-being and are crucial indicators of their effectiveness. |
