المستخلص The current study aimed to verify the effectiveness of a training program based on the theory of creative problem solving in developing future thinking and creative self- efficacy among secondary school students in the schools of Al- Shobak District in Jordan. The study used the future thinking scale and the creative self-efficacy scale. The final study sample consisted of (66) students. the first experimental group of (28) students, and the second control group of of (38) in the academic year 2022 / 2023, and the study relied on the semi-experimental approach, and the study resulted in statistically significant differences between the average scores of students in the experimental and control groups in the post-measurement of the future thinking scale with its dimensions (future planning, future prediction, positive thinking about the future, future imagination, developing the future scenario, and evaluating the future perspective) for the benefit of the experimental group students. There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group students in the measurements (pre-, post-, and follow-up) of the Future Thinking Scale in favor of the post- and follow-up measurements, and there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental and control groups in the post-measurement of the Creative Self-Efficacy Scale with its two dimensions (Self-Efficacy in Creative Thinking , and self-efficacy in creative performance) in favor of the experimental group, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group students in the measurements (pre, post, and follow-up) of the creative self-efficacy scale in favor of the post and follow-up measurements in the light of the results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggested research. |
