Abstract

Coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) is the disease caused by 2019-nCoV/SARS-CoV-2, a novel ẞ coronavirus, its illness ranges from asymptomatic or mild infection to severe respiratory tract
infections in humans. Presentations of this virus include fever, coughing, dyspnea, watery diarrhea, myalgia, severe lymphopenia, abnormal coagulation
profiles, cardiac disease, and sudden death. Fever is a common symptom of COVID-19. However, not everyone who develops COVID-19 will experience fever.
The majority of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS- CoV-2) infections in children are either mild
or asymptomatic, with a small subset requiring hospitalization. Many of these children have had clinical features similar to Kawasaki disease (KD), and they have had high rates of hemodynamic instability, myocardial involvement, and respiratory failure requiring intensive care level support
