المستخلص This study aims to identify the relationship between entrepreneurial mindset & sustainable entrepreneurship competencies and to determine the impact of entrepreneurial mindset dimensions on sustainable entrepreneurship competencies. Survey forms used to collect data from 384 entrepreneurs in SMEs in Egypt, 270 entrepreneurs responded. Due to absence of a sampling frame, a convenience sample used, and data collected electronically using Google Forms. The study showed a significant positive correlation between entrepreneurial mindset & sustainable entrepreneurship competencies. Additionally, alertness to opportunity has a significant positive effect on foresighted thinking competence, systems thinking competence, normative competence, action competence, strategic management competence & interpersonal competence. Moreover, risk propensity has a significant positive effect on foresighted thinking competence, systems thinking competence, action competence, strategic management competence & interpersonal competence. In addition, ambiguity tolerance has a significant positive effect on diversity and interdisciplinary competence, systems thinking competence, normative competence only. Furthermore, dispositional optimism has a significant positive effect on diversity and interdisciplinary competence, normative competence, action competence, strategic management competence & interpersonal competence. The study also revealed a significant difference between entrepreneurs’ competencies according to gender, but no significant difference between them regarding EM. However, no significant differences according to age, educational level or level of experience. |
