Abstract The global spread of avian influenza virus AIV (H5N8) of clade 2.3.4.4b since 2016 has caused severe losses in domestic birds and has posed a risk for the infection of mammals including humans. The H5N8 endemic status continues to devastate the local poultry industry so it is important to evaluate the current vaccination types against H5N8 in Egypt. |
