Abstract Fractures of the femoral neck accounts for half of all hip fractures especially in elderly patients after simple falls (1), these fractures increases in number and importance with aging and population growth (2-4). This prospective and retrospective study involved 30 patients, 12 cases prospective and 18 cases retrospective with failed internal fixation of femoral neck fractures. Our patients were collected from our clinic of Orthopedic Surgery Department of Zagazig University Hospitals. The follow up period of the cases was ranged from 5 years to 10 years with average time 7.5 years. |
