Abstract Decreased right ventricular function after coronary artery bypass grafting is a common and well-known (if not well-understood) phenomenon. Right ventricular dysfunction is a possible cause of cardiac failure after cardiac surgery and has a high mortality rate. The aim of this study was evaluation of the effects on right ventricular function in patients undergoing CABG.77 patients aged between 30–75 years who underwent CABG were included in the study during the period between the 1st of May 2019 to the 30th of April 2021. Patients underwent elective CABG in Assiut university Heart hospital were included in our study, but patients with prior RV or LV dysfunction and who had bad echo window were excluded. |
