While in HAP group, this study found Klebsiella pneumoniae (45%) to be the most common organism followed by Acinetobacter spp. (20%), pseudomonas aeruginosa (15%) and E. coli (15%). Those was sensitive to Colistin (90%), tygacil (50%), Amikacin (35%), floroquinolones (25%), gentamicin (25%) and imipinam (20%). All HAP groups were on antibiotic while (66.7%) of the CAP group had antibiotics before admission. |
