Abstract It describes the experimental part of the thesis. Four complexes were prepared. The elemental analysis are applied that comptexes are in the stoichemetry (1:2) mole ratio of metal to ligand for barbituric acid (BA) and (1:1) mole ratio of metal to ligand for barbital(Bal) . The instrumental analyses are divided to three categories; 1- spectroscopic analyses include FT-IR , UV-vis , Magnetic susceptibility and Mass spectra ; 2- thermal analyses include TGA, DTA and DSC; 3-Kinetic studies on complexes to obtain thermodynamic parameters. Some statistical studies were done to obtain the different correlation coefficients between the data. Molecular modeling, comptional details for tautomeric of barbituric acid and barbital (IR, NMR, C-NMR thermodynamic parameters) and calculation of some quantum chemical parameters. |
