Abstract It is obvious that democratic cities and their public spaces have a very close relationship. This research concentrated on studying the democratic public spaces in megacities cities, how it is used, how it is constructed and how we can study and understand it. In brief, what space is needed in democratic cities, and do real democratic cities provide that space? The result forms the main category to clarify, evaluate and analyze the democratic performance relationship with physical patterns, the perception and people’s activity patterns within democratic spaces, beside putting guidelines for preserving and controlling the democratic spaces |
