Abstract
The aim of this study was the assessment of low intensity laser versus synthetic bone graft for osseo - integration around immediate dental implants. The study was performed on eleven female’s patients; they were divided into 2 groups. Each group contained 6 implants. All patients underwent immediate submerged implant insertion, group I has received (LILT) for the area of implant post - surgery for six sessions, day after day started immediately post-operative, the patients of this group were subjected to diode laser of wavelength of (980nm) for three minutes to each implant. group II has received bone substitute around the implant to increase osseointegration. All patients were followed up clinically and radiographically for osseointegration using CBCT one day, two and four months post surgical time intervals. The results revealed that laser group showed statistically significant increase in percentage mean bone density compared to the graft groups through the same study intervals
