Abstract Back ground and objective: Bell’s palsy is a disorder of the 7th cranial nerve that controls movement of the muscles of the face. Damage to this nerve causes weakness or paralysis of these muscles. This study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of Russian current versus faradic current on improving strength of facial muscles in patients with Bell{u2019}s palsy. Conclusion: Russian current has a more beneficial effect than faradic stimulation on improvement of facial muscles strength in patients with Bell{u2019}s palsy |
