Abstract
The present study was conducted to compare post-treatment mesiodistal root angulation in extraction and non-extraction cases using panoramic radiographs and Cone Beam Computed Tomography scans. Results Applying ANOVA to the collected data, results were obtained in both extraction and non-extraction groups; showed exaggerations in standard panorama and reformatted panorama in mesial and distal directions. Conclusion: Neither standard nor reformatted panoramic images provide reliable information regarding mesiodistal tooth angulations and might exhibit deviations in both mesial and distal directions for all teeth
