The current study aimed to determine the relationship between innovation and government performance in the government sector in Dakahlia Governorate in an attempt to develop a clear perception of that relationship due to the lack of studies so far - within the limits of the researcher’s knowledge -, and to work to provide brief and specific recommendations to those in charge of different departments and departments to help improve them. The researcher used a survey that was prepared to collect data for the research variables; Data was collected from 374 employees in the government sector in Dakahlia Governorate. The method of simple and multiple regression analysis to verify the validity of the research hypotheses. The researcher reached several results that represented the existence of a significant correlation relationship between innovation and government performance in the government sector in Dakahlia Governorate at the level of significant significance (0.05) and the presence of a significant effect of each of the dimensions of innovation on the dimensions of government performance for the internal client at the level of significant significance. (0.05).
