Abstract There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups regarding umbilical artery RI, which was increased resistance in group A, also There was a statistically significant difference regarding both uterine arteries mean PI and the total number of cases present with uterine arteries early diastolic notch which both were increased in group A. Also we found a significant negative correlation between umbilical and uterine arteries Doppler measurements and both estimated fetal weight and growth percentile, as we found with more increase in umbilical and uterine arteries PI, RI Doppler measurements there was more decrease in estimated fetal weight and growth percentile. Also there was a significant relation between uterine arteries early diastolic notch and fetal growth restriction. Conclusion: In pregnancy associated with antiphosholipid syndrome, Doppler examination for umbilical and uterine arteries at 28 weeks gestation, can be useful in screening and early detection of adverse pregnancy outcome related to fetal growth restriction. |
