Abstract Cluster Analysis is an unsupervised classification, it can be defined as the task of arranging a set of observations to form groups or clusters such that observations in the same cluster are more similar to each others (i.e., high intra-class similarity) compared to those in the other clusters (i.e., low inter-class similarity). Efforts have always been directed to the development of clustering techniques that are capable of dealing with only one type of data, qualitative or quantitative. However, real-life datasets are usually a mixture of both. |
