Abstract The aim of this study is to: Determine teeth pathology such as tooth loss, periodontal diseases, cyst abscess, attrition and caries in modern kingdom in ancient Egyptians compared to contemporary population. Measure the concentration of some trace elements in the calcified tissues of modern kingdom Egyptians, adopting laser spectrochemicals analytical techniques to compare it to the concentrations of contemporary population in order to assess the change in the human burden of these elements that result from the change in diet and environment, and finally to compare the trace elements of ancients among bone, teeth and of the same individuals.
