Abstract Methodology: A total of 44 patients were selected for this study. Then they were divided into two groups (N=22). First group received vita enamic hybrid abutment crowns. Second group received lithium silicate hybrid abutment crowns over immediately placed implants in esthetic zone. Atraumatic extraction followed by immediate implant placement. The covering screw was removed and replaced by a healing collar of proper size followed by temporization. The intraoral scanning was performed immediately after removal of the temporary. The titanium base was then secured to the implant and scan body. All the dental scans together with the gingival scans were combined to create the entire virtual model of the restoration. The restoration was milled, individualized and stained according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Extraoral bonding of the titanium base with the abutment crown. Radiographs were taken immediately after implant placement and 12 months after restoration placement using a parallel technique, with an X-ray holder for periapical radiographs. The patients’ recorded their satisfaction using visual analogue scale. Periodontal parameters were assessed after 1 year Results: Data were collected, tabulated, and statistically analyzed using Microsoft Excel ® 20161 , Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS)® Ver. 242 . and Minitab3 ® statistical software Ver. 16. The significant level was set at P ≤ 0.05. The quantitative data were presented as mean & standard deviation. Exploration of the given data was performed using Shapiro-Wilk test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for normality and revealed that all data were normal (parametric). Accordingly, Repetitive One-Way ANOVA test was used to compare between different follow up records. On the other hand, comparison between three groups was performed by using One Way ANOVA test followed by Tukey`s Post Hoc test for multiple comparisons |
